IMAP to IMAP
If you are migrating from one IMAP compatible server onto another, there are a few different tools that can be used. To help you make a decision on what tool that fits you best, you might want to think about the following questions:
- How much resources (people and servers) can we allocate to the migration?
- How much technical know-how do we have in-house?
- Are the servers accessible from the internet?
If you do not have much technical know-how and your servers are publically available, it makes sense to look at a solution such as YippieMove. However, if you have a lot of resources and know-how in-house, it might make sense to evaluate a tool like imapsync.
